This blog was created to keep friends and family updated this summer as I am in China and Hong Kong.  My summer will be split up into a few different portions:

• the fist month (from mid April to mid May) I will be at home:  spending time with family and friends and doing casual work shifts.
• the second part of my summer (from Mid May until the end of June) I will be studying the Chinese language in China and then touring Beijing for a few days before moving on to the next part of my summer
• The third portion of my summer I will be heading to Hong Kong to teach English as a second language to children in a summer camp setting
• For the last part of my summer, before heading back to school at the end of August, I will be both relaxing at home for a while and also going on vacation with my family for a week, camping and then thinking about and planning my trip back out to school.
